Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Burger
Team Trillkins got to kick March off v proper last night. A good friend of ours gave us tickets to the Mavericks / Magic game. The game was a home team win (121 / 108) and the seats turned out to be pretty legit, but all of that stuff doesn’t matter because we’re here to talk BURGERS!
The chefs at the American Airlines Center are celebrating Dirk “The God” Nowitzki’s 29,000 NBA points achievement by naming a burger after him (BTW, this is the way all achievements should be praised). The official description from the Dallas Morning News states that it “is a one-third-pound burger on a Bavarian pretzel bun, topped with jalapeno beer cheese, bacon onion marmalade, arugula and mustard horseradish aioli”.
Surprisingly it seems like the chefs took the easy way and the only German thing about the burger is that it’s on a “Bavarian pretzel bun”. I was really hoping they would German the hell out of it. Pretzel bun, a Wiener Schnitzel patty, topped with sauerkraut, German mustard, and a little German flag on a toothpick to hold it all together.
The burger itself was really good though. Just wish they would have thought a litter harder :/
Anyway the Dirk Burger is only available for a limited time. I think the lady who was behind me in line said that they are pulling it at end of the month. So get it while you can!!
